Missions Statement & Beliefs

We are dedicated to educating children with a Biblical worldview. We strive to prepare them for life and teach them how to live Christ-like. Our goal in education is found in Luke 1:17: “Make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” We agree with Dr. David Gibbs that it is vital for each child to see the following characteristics at Missionary Christian School:

  1. Our first priority is to lead every young person to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 3:3)

  2. We desire to lead every child to the knowledge of the word of God. (Psalm 119:9)

  3. We strive to teach every child enough about the scriptures for them to be able to lead another person to Christ. (Proverbs 11:30)

  4. We teach the children to fear God. (Job 28:28)

  5. We teach the children to live holy. (Ephesians 1:4)

  6. We desire to teach the children the stewardship of life. (Galatians 2:20)

  7. We strive to teach the children Biblical excellence. (Ecclesiastes 9:10)

  8. The children will be taught how to worship God. (Psalm 95:6)

These Eight characteristics will be taught in word and in deed by the teachers and staff of Missionary Christian School. For the students to have the desires to live right, they must see the adults live godly as exemplary servants of God.
